Results - World Cup - Life

Hello people of the world (since my blog is public), how's everyone doing? I hope you guys are spectacular!

RESULTS
My friend called me yesterday (17 May) to deliver some good news. My final examination's results came out. If you remember my entry a few months back, I was screaming and literally announcing to the world my perfect score (GPA: 4.00/4.00). Anyway, it didn't happen this year. However, I wasn't disappointed with my last semester's GPA (3.80/4.00). So my CGPA is still at 3.83/4.00.

I had an enlightenment.

Exams are just exams and the outcome from them is just scores and grades. It "describes" your achievements but it definitely doesn't define you. What matters most is the person within oneself. Your success should be measured with more than just your degree or education (of course, they make it easier for you to achieve your goals). You may think I'm saying all these because I'm a sore loser or something, it's really not like that.

WORLD CUP
This is one subject that I don't really have much to say. I'm not into football (soccer for US readers - as if I have international readers, LOL), especially after the incident more than 10 years back. Many people will be like "Huh? You don't like football?" or "How can a guy not like football?". To me, it's a sport and it's a big one but despite the scale of acceptance of football, I don't think every male should like football. That's called stereotyping. I hope the world would understand that one day.

So while everyone is hyped up over this FIFA WC 2006 and staying up just to watch those matches, I'll be sleeping (like a pig). It's a blessing in disguise. BUT, I still follow or read up on the scores. It's just that the information I obtained will not be fresh off the TV. [smirk]

LIFE
I'm living it. Enjoying it. Loving it. Life should be lived, enjoyed and embraced. If not, where's the fun?
