When FAST isn't FAST Enough

Hello Peeps. It's been forever since I last post an entry. Don't believe me? Look at the date of the last thread before this one. Been bumming at home doing house chores, watching Jap anime, reading and going out shopping and coffee. All this because of just one thing, my sponsor (scholarship).

For those who don't know, I'm bonded for 3 yrs by my sponsor, a local company (listed on Bursa's Main Board). According to them, they will send the offer letter to me on IMMEDIATE basis once the new package is approved during the Board of Trustee's meeting. Well, send my (bleep). I've been bumming for a month now. Some may say it's just a month, but I'm those that must work. I cannot not work. My last email to them was to enquire the outcome of the Board Meeting. As a stakeholder in that matter (scholarship, as a recipient), I believe that I have the right to ask this question and it's been long enough.

Just two days ago, I received a reply fr them saying "Further take note that you have to be patient with the offer letter. I have informed to you on the progress as per the earlier e-mail." The "earlier e-mail" that was mentioned did not have any information except the date of the meeting and also sending the letter on immediate basis. Why can't they let me know roughly when I will be able to start or at least let me know roughly when will I receive my letter?

Being the ever restless fella, I've applied to several companies. What do I do now? I'll wait and see which company works faster (it's not as if I will definitely get any offer from other companies, LOL). I will consider breaching my scholarship contract if I can get a good offer from one of the companies I've applied to. However, I will give my sponsor 1 more week to sort things out. It's more than enough. I have had enough of their nonsense. When that 1 week's up, I will send an email to them requesting information regarding the repayment methods of the scholarship should I breach the contract. I will hold on to the information and will not hesitate to use it when it's absolutely necessary!

Screw them all!!! Demand better service or screw them all!! It's high time Malaysians learn that procrastination and bad service will destroy the country. Screw them all, I say!!

MALAYSIA BOLEH! Apa pun boleh... Buat pun boleh... tak buat pun boleh... Semua boleh...

Whatever you tak boleh buat elsewhere in this world, come to Malaysia. It is after all, the BOLEH-land.
