The Holiday

When I saw the movie poster and read the name "Nancy Meyers", I knew at that very moment that this movie is worth every cents. I was not wrong. It was incredibly real and absolutely charming, defying the norms that people live by everyday!

Its casting was genius and the script was brilliant. When you see Iris (Kate Winslet) running around her new house being so happy, you just want to be happy with her. Miles (Jack Black) was an upbeat and fun person to be with and he was exactly what Iris needed after a lousy "break up" with her so-called boyfriend.

High-powered Amanda (Cameron Diaz) has a set of steel eyeballs without tear ducts. Also, after a lousy break up with her boyfriend (Edward Burns) needed a place to calm herself. This resulted in her switching houses with her Iris. (Btw, it's a brilliant idea for a holiday. But I think if Malaysians do that, our priced possesions in the house will just disappear). Moving on... Graham (Jude Law) is simply a S.N.A.G that I think every woman will want to have as a partner. For the lost causes, S.N.A.G stands for "Sensitive New Age Guy".

All in all, everyone was absolutely gorgeous in that film and I can assure you, it's a good watch. I highly recommend it.
