This is the place where you will find everything about me. What, when, where, who and how... It's my life the way I see it. After all, it's my HORIZON!

Lose Sight...

More often than not, we lose sight of what's more important than a few alphabets in which we think will determine how we live in the future. What is the point of education if in the end, what we care most is the grade?

Every year for the past few years (without fail), I saw students cried and laughed, disappointed or worse, attempted to commit suicide. If one comes out knowing nothing practical and without soft-skills but is armed with a list of As, I assure you, one still goes nowhere. Take education as education and not a checklist of how many As one gets. It's unhealthy.

Of course, I congratulate those with big achievements. They deserved it. To those that didn't fair so well, why cry? I've seen graduates with a perfect CGPA but alas, when tested on general knowledge and skills, they were no better than airheads. On the contrary, candidates with average results were much better in terms of general knowledge and skills. In general, maybe what I'm trying to say is getting As is no big deal when you can't carry them well.

Parents beware of what you're instilling in your children. Don't screw them up with you think is ideal. It's nonsense...

Good one, results doesn't mean everything. One gotta be street smart as well. Education is just a stepping stone but what you become is entirely up to you to achieve.

Just be wise and do the right thing! It will definitely go far because i have been living by it. Meet the right ppl to show you the right path, don't think you are always right... LISTEN...

agreed that not everything to be learnt is from books

heck we could do a lot better with 'character-instilling', 'street smartness', 'ethics', etc but seriously... you cant learn these from books
