What happened to me?...

Hi guys! It has been almost two months now... In these two months, a lot of things happened. Things that pissed me off, things that made me think hard and things that shocked me happened within a short 2 months. Here was what happened:

ASSIGNMENTS

I know part of a student's life in University is assignments. I had my fair share of it during my last 2 and half years in UM. However, my current semester (final semester of my B. Ec.) really got me into tight spots. I was rushing to complete several assignments while trying to maintain the quality of my work. For that, I slept at 5:30am and 3 or 4am almost every night. I enjoyed doing them, but at the same time, I felt really tired. Who wouldn't? Later this week, I'll have to start another 2 or 3 assignments which due within 3 weeks.

MID-TERM TEST

Yesterday (27 February) I had my first mid-term test. It was Managerial Decision Making. Honestly, I wasn't ready for that test. I read through what has to be read and thought that it would be enough to pull through. I was wrong! For the record, I have never look at my friends' answer scripts; at least not in a sneaky manner. I knew the answer or at least I had ideas of what it should be like. However, that wasn't the case. I copied my friend. Not all but quite a lot. It didn't feel right. I didn't feel good. I could blame the assignments that I have but it would be immature. What I need to do is to have better time management. Agree?

KITCHEN ON FIRE

Now, many of you might think that this is just a joke. Well, it happened 2 days ago (Saturday). I was doing my work in my room when out of nowhere, my sister came rushing in shouting "FIRE!!!" and "Not joking!!!!". I ran into the kitchen and guess what I saw? FIRE!!! It was actually funny. My mom was preparing to deep-fry drummets and left the hob on to heat the oil and went to do something in the dry kitchen. Suddenly, the fire happened. It was big, all the way to the ceiling. Cute part was, only the inside of the pot was on fire. With a house full of girls, you can only imagine what I had to bare with... LOL! Interesting though. Fire extinguisher was an expired one. Don't know what to do. So we called the security. They waltzed into my house. Oh yeah, they took their sweet time. Came in without the extinguisher (which my sister already told them to bring) and dilly dally around. My sister, disgusted by that behaviour, started screwing (don't mind the language) them. It was a subdrama. Then came the extinguisher, spray spray spray... kitchen gone white. We spent almost 2 hrs cleaning it. Did I tell you, the guards used our expired extinguisher? LOL! That was some dinner alright!

That's it for now. There'll be more in the future. I can't jam everything into 1 post. That'll be crazy. I might as well write a book, no? Maybe I'll talk about my interview experience with one of the major firm in KL, or maybe not. I don't know. We'll see... You just need to pop by HORIZON from time to time to check it out.
