Of Family, Friends and Work: An overdue post!

Hello guys. I know I haven’t posted anything up here for a very long time. It’s outrageously outrageous. LOL. So how have everyone been? Good? Great? Fantabulous?

Remember my complaints last time about my work on how I don’t have work and the things I don’t have? Well, I have all of them now! I’m very happy. For those who do not know my updates (partly is my fault since I didn’t update HORIZON), I’ve been transferred to one of my company’s core division. No point explaining what is it because it’s kind of complicated. [wink].

Been working late nowadays. Sometimes I left the office at 7pm. Went home and had my dinner and started working again until 12 plus and sometimes 1:30am. It’s tiring but it was nevertheless worth it when my boss appreciated my work. Even our brokers from London were impressed with my impeccable output!

Right, enough of my updates. Well, I must say that I’m very stressed out recently with the workload, the learning and the new system my company is implementing soon. I’m one of the key personnel for this new system for my department. I have to absorb the business knowledge and at the same time learn the twists/turns of this system which requires me to have a significant understanding of the business. There’s a certain level of expectation from various departments and I don’t plan to disappoint them. Of course, I have my family and my friends (in fact, one of them is actually active in my CBox) to support me. She called and later messaged me (because I was in a training session for the system) to check on how I was holding up. TERIMA KASIH!

Damn it! I said “enough of my updates” above, didn’t I? Oh well, guys… I bought a new little something for myself. It’s a very cool and unique accessory for my hand. Peeps, when we go out, I shall display it. LOL. I think I deserved it after the enormous stress I was in. Don’t get me wrong, I like my job. I hated it at first. However, after being transferred, everything seems to be different and my work has meaning and I’m a key person in that company. I LOVE MY BOSS, my supervisor is GREAT, colleagues… erm, they are alright. My superiors are very cool people. What more can I ask, yes? God is good and God is fair!

In the past three months, I’ve seen many things. Experienced many things. Heard many things. Felt many things. All these combined together have changed the way I look at certain things. One thing for sure: my friends and my family. Now I know why people always say “Wisdom comes from experience.”
