This is the place where you will find everything about me. What, when, where, who and how... It's my life the way I see it. After all, it's my HORIZON!

Jebon and ETC

Now, I know this post should be in HORIZON way long ago! I just can't help it! Was not in the mood to write crap. Anyway, let's move on...
James Bond. Contrary to what people have said about "Casino Royale", (for those uninitiated, it's the latest James Bond flick) I feel that it's actually kinda cool. It's not your usual 100% suave man but it has flavor in it. He's more physical and therefore, more real. Unlike Brosnan, he used his muscles and brains and we can see weaknesses in him. For that matter, we can feel more comfortable watching that movie and not feeling weird when Bond (Brosnan's version) fought bad guys and appeared surprisingly, VERY clean! All those in "flavour", say AYE!!!

GRUDGE 2
Hmmm, thanks to this movie, Edison Chen is one of the sexiest man in the States. Well, I can't say much nor I have comments about him. I'm kinda OK with it! I must say he did quite a good job in this movie. The ending of this movie is well, a little hanged. BUT, the cool part was we finally understood why that long-haired lady had that "aaakkk....eeeekkkkkkk......errrkkkkkk" sound whenever she appeared. The cool part, she popped out from everywhere ie. Bathtub, small tub, phone booth, hospital and etc. The sound effect topped with her presence = eerie!

OF PARKING BOX
This is why I hate my office area. No parking. Well, not really. I called Secure Parking. Apparently, their parking complexes in office towers are really way out! Year end is coming and according to the friendly babe I spoke to, I'll have one in no time (in no time means sometime next year). Therefore, she proposed that I take up the box in Avenue Securities. It's more affordable compared to those near my office. I'll just have to walk around 15 minutes before I reach my office. LOL. I'll take it as morning exercise and night exercise. Yup, you read that right. It's gonna be night exercise as I will be in the office until around 8 plus (hopefully not 9 plus). I guess I no longer need to warm up when I go to gym! Cool, isn't it? (Trying to be very optimistic here). I'll reserve another box with Secure for next year. When a box is available (hopefully), I'll move there from Avenue Securities.

I can't really bitch about work here! I found out that when you type my name in full, you can actually find HORIZON! To avoid problems, I shall hold my thoughts pertaining to my office. Not that I have any bad things to say about it. Maybe I have... or ... maybe not! Errmmm, nope. I don't think so! So in case my boss is reading this, YOU CAN'T HOLD ANYTHING AGAINST ME! (Bet she's laughing reading this now). Or not. I'm weird.

Coming Post: Casino Royale...

I watched Casino Royale today with my family. I quite like it. LOL. Will blab about it when I come back from my dinner. :) It's interesting. LOVE THE CAR!

WoooHooo... It's Monday

Hello again, me peeps. It's 13 November and as you know (or going to know - for those who read this like now), it's my mother's birthday! Hip Hip Hurray... 1 year wiser (as if she's not wise enough already), 1 year older and more white hair... LOL. Bee Hoon.

Anyway, a few people asked me what did I buy for myself (wrist, to be exact) few weeks ago. Well, I got myself a I-don't-know-what-is-it-called-but-it's-for-my-wrist-thing. Yes... I call it that. Here's a picture for you to look-see. So look-see. It's magnetic. All the tube thingies are attached together merely by magnetic field. No strings attached. Haha. Isn't it vintage looking? I just love it! Apparently, since it's magnetic all over, it's good for your blood circulation as well. Double whammo.

Now, who can tell me what do these two notes have in common? The top is a voucher from Nandos Chicken. The one below is a REAL RM50/= note.

It's creepy isn't it? To a certain extent, it's like a mockery to our ruler. But hey, it's advertising and I love it. It's creative. Voucher in the form of a real note.

Btw, this chicken note was supplied by a friend of mine while having lunch with her. I was shocked. She suggested that I take a picture of it and post it up in HORIZON. Guess what? You're looking at it now.

I have a strict policy of not putting my own or my family or my friends or my colleagues or hmmm, in fact I have a policy of not putting any pictures of anyone that I know or I've seen before or hmmm, I should stop.

Anyway, 2 days ago, my house (the whole condo actually) went into darkness. Only God knows what went wrong because we don't. It was so dark that I think the darkness crept into our brilliant minds. We ended taking photos... in the dark. In case you're wondering, the photo (goofy face with little or no dating value) was taken by my phone. Cool, isn't it?

We started singing weird songs, talked rubbish (something the family is really good at), say stupid jokes (something about Mr. Jagjit and his family, damn stupid btw) and many other dumb things. 5 mins... 10 mins... 30 mins... 1 hr (not sure whether we were in the dark for 1 hr or more, or less or damn it, nobody actually cares bout how long we were in the dark anyway), we have light. The moment our light flickered, we cheered and howl like a pack of mad, hungry for sex wolves.

NOTE: Other families howled too. I don't like that picture 24/7. Only when I'm nuts. So please don't register that face into your spongy brains. By posting this pic, I might've killed all possibilities of future unions. LOL.

I have no intention of checking my grammar for this entry. In fact, I didn't check for any English errors in all my posts. Don't see the point because, let's face it, you're here because you're here to read about my exciting and colourful life, "The Cool Life of Teh & Chin Fong" (an adaptation from Disney original series, "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody". Oh yeah, I watch Disney Channel and I love it. It's my No. 1 channel in Astro.

Ohh, almost forgot. Silly me. I watched "Step Up" 2 days ago with my family. That movie was amazing. Just fantastic. Possibly, my excitement had to do with the babes and the dude (notice the dude doesn't have "s" to it, because there's only 1 dude worth talking about. Don't worry, I'm not talking about me!). Watch it...

My most Respected Woman...

This year marks my mother’s 55 years of living. 13 November 1951, one great woman was born into the world. I still remember certain events that took place some 12 years ago. A man left his family for reasons the family cannot tell. The obstacles we had to go through weren’t easy and of course, in the process of facing them, arguments and fights were unavoidable. I still remember the time when we had to eat rice with only soy sauce or fried eggs and the sleepless nights worrying about what will happen in the next few days.

12 years later (today), we’re in a much better position. We’re able to buy things that we want, eat things that we like and most importantly, we are still together, closer than ever. My sisters have been of great help to my mother but I must say, if my mother weren’t there, things might have been different. If only you guys know what she has been through to be who she is today... Despite the events that have happened in her life, I'm glad that we can live and be merry! Therefore, I always believe that we should look into the future, live the present and refer to the past.
